ARTOC Scholarship Student Graduates from Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy

ARTOC Group is delighted to announce the successful completion by its scholarship student of the Master in Public Administration (MPA) programme at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy – the graduate school of the National University of Singapore. ARTOC had awarded in June 2010 a full scholarship to Mr. Amr Farouk Safwat, the first Egyptian student at Lew Kuan Yew, as part of its ongoing commitment to deliver corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in education which have exceeded US$ 11 million, and US$19 million in total across different fields.

Commenting on his studies at Lee Kuan Yew, Mr. Safwat stated that he has gained vast experience, which he considers a great asset for any position he will assume in the field of public administration and policies. He intends to resume his post at the international relations divisions of Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), but hopes to explore different opportunities in international organizations such as the United Nations and in multinationals to work in the field of policy analysis.

Mr. Safwat concluded by deeply thanking Mr. M. Shafik Gabr, ARTOC Group's Chairman and Managing Director, for the 'spectacular chance' which taught him on both the professional and personal levels, and which he is confident will affect his career positively.
